Installation & System Set-up of PLM Software Solutions

The CMstat system and software installation phase includes the physical installation of the software on the appropriate servers and select client machines as well as System Set-up (configuration) which includes System Administrator Training.

Assuming the environment including customer supplied hardware and software has the proper set-up and is available, the software Installation and System Set-up/Admin Training process can be accomplished in five days. During the Installation process a designated customer IT resource will be trained in the installation process for future use.

Upon the successful completion of the installation, a CMstat resource will begin the System Set-up process with the designated System Administrator(s) to set up and configure the system.

During this process the System Administrators will work extensively with the CMstat resource within the Administration Module to complete such tasks as creating user groups, setting user permissions, assigning user defined look-up values, assigning global and project default settings, creating project specific rules, changing field labels to match the customer data scheme, etc.

This process is designed to set-up the configuration of the system, as well as train the System Administrators in the use of the Administration Module to meet their future needs. It is recommended that System Administrators attend the End User Training course to complete their familiarization with the system and enable them to train new users.

Upon completion of the Installation and System Set-up phase, the CMstat system is usually production ready.
