Irving Shipyards selects CMstat to support Mid-Shore Shipbuilding Contract

Irving Shipbuilding, Inc has implemented the CMstat Hardware Configuration Management system to provide a collaborative Product Data Management environment in support of its Mid-Shore Patrol Vessel Contract.

Irving Shipbuilding Inc of Halifax was awarded a contract for nine 'Canadianized' Damen Stan Patrol 4207. These 9 Dutch-designed 42 m patrol boats will be built in Atlantic Canada for use in three Canadian Coast Guard Regions (Maritimes, Quebec, & Pacific).

CMstat will provide its central "Database of Authority" for all Metadata and associated drawings and documents enabling streamlined change processing, collaboration and coordination across the supply chain.

Irving Shipyard has already deployed CMstat's EPOCH DM Advanced CDRL Management System in support of its role as Prime Contractor of the FELEX Frigate Mid-Life Extension program.

Halifax Shipyard selects EPOCH DM for Deliverables Management

Las Vegas, NV - August 1, 2009 - CMstat is pleased to announce Halifax Shipyard, a subsidiary of JD Irving LTD, has selected EPOCH DM for its Enterprise Contract Deliverables Management solution.

EPOCH DM will support the FELEX (Frigate Life Extension) contract for the on-going maintenance and repair of the Canada's frigates. DND awarded Halifax Shipyard (HSI) the contract in March 2008. The program is scheduled for completion in 2017.

Fleetway, Inc., also a subsidiary of JD Irving LTD, has been using EPOCH DM for over two years. Fleetway's implementation, , a prime example of the new "Enterprise Data Management" concept, has facilitated communication of needs, schedules and contract requirements between Data Managers, Engineering personnel and the Customer resulting in increased performance-based bonuses.

HSI, recognizing the need for a robust web-based Contract Deliverables Management System early on, selected EPOCH DM, in part, due to it's successful implementation at Fleetway. In-depth functionality, rapid deployment and excellent customer support were important requirements.

The FELEX project will manage both the modernization of the combat systems and a planned mid-life ship refit program to ensure the frigates remain effective to the projected end of their service life. This work will encompass modernization of the ships' platform, including ships' systems upgrades, acquisition and installation of new capabilities, such as enhanced radar, changes to the platform needed to accommodate the new capabilities, and integration of all aspects of the ships' operations into an upgraded command and control system.

In response to numerous customer requests for more robust workflow functionality CMstat integrated its BPM Advanced Workflow modulecontaining all the features necessary to support the most complex business process.

A completely web-based Java application, BPM provides the System Administrator a Management Dashboard to create workflow templates using "drag and drop" functionality and, using a simple Add/Remove" function, the ability to create custom end-user screens. This feature gives the Administrator the flexibility to provide the end user with only the necessary information needed to complete their assigned task.

CMstat Receives CMII Certification

Las Vegas, NV - July 10, 2007 - TPT Technologies, Inc. is proud to announce that it's CMstat Configuration Management suite received CMII Certification from the Institute of Configuration Management.

TPT Technologies was notified by Vince Guess, Founder of ICM and CMII, of initial certification on July 7, 2007.

CMstat Selected by InDyne, Inc. at Vandenberg AFB

InDyne is teamed with Northrop Grumman Information Technology on the contract, which is a consolidation of several existing communications and IT contracts: Range Operations & Maintenance Support Services; Launch Communications; Command, Control, Communications & Computer; Vandenberg Electronic Security Systems, and Technical Support & Computer Services.

"The WROCI contract is one of the most complex acquisitions that Vandenberg has ever awarded," said Evelyn Swain, Contracting Officer for the 30th Contracting Squadron. "Competition was keen, but InDyne's proposal proved exceptional and provided the best overall value. We welcome InDyne aboard as part of Team Vandenberg."

The 30th Space Wing at Vandenberg is the Air Force Space Command organization responsible for all Department of Defense space and missile launch activities on the West Coast. All U.S. government and commercial satellites destined for near polar orbit are launched from Vandenberg.

The COTS CMstat system is deployed on the NASA Spacelift Range Contract (SLRS) with ITT Industries and L-3 Communications at Vandenberg AFB and Patrick AFB. CMstat was used to consolidate the Eastern and Western Range Engineering Databases under common configuration control. The deployment of CMstat on WROCI will standardize and greatly simplify the interchange of Engineering data and documentation between the two contact entities.

CMstat Completes Spacelift Range Implementation
