What file formats does the Document vault support? The document vault will store and secure any file type or register.

What file types does your Document Viewer support? The document viewer supports over 250 file formats including all major CAD system, both 2D and 3D.

What about reporting? CMstat contains an embedded report writer that allows access to all tables and fields. Reports may be saved for future use as private, or shared, reports. We are also developing a report wizard for exporting grids to five different formats.

Am I able to get to the data in the tables and who has rights to do that? You must be granted the role of DBA in order to access the tables.

Can I change field labels? All field labels and grid labels can be changed by the Admin User.

Can we change object names? For example, you list Engineering Change Orders (ECO), but we call them Engineering Direction Orders (EDO). Yes all Status Definitions are defined by the Admin User.

Is CMstat web-based? CMstat PDMPlus is a client-server application with a web interface.

How big a product structure can CMstat handle? There is no limit to the size of BOM or structure that can be managed in CMstat. Our customers range from small product structures of less than 100 items total to complete weapons/vehicle systems that have upwards of 25,000 items in their structures.

Can users report a problem or initiate a change via the web with CMstat? Yes, our web access license has support for users who wish to report an issue or even initiate changes. Admin can determine which change types users have access to and set up automatic block numbering. Contact your support representative for details about how to utilize this feature.

Can Warranty information be tracked in CMstat? Yes, CMstat has a Warranty module that can be used to capture warranty information such as warranty expiration date, who services the warranty, details of warranty conditions, etc. This data can be cross-referenced to.
