CMstat - Basic User Training
Provides a general overview of configuration management and product data management concepts and how to apply them utilizing the CMstat application. Detailed user education and hands-on training in all basic functions of the CMstat System.
To ensure maximum effectiveness, CMstat training courses are limited to a maximum of ten (10) students per class. Classes larger than ten will require an additional instructor.
Two students are assigned to an individual workstation, which is networked to the instructor’s CPU. Overhead projector imaging, as well as detailed handouts and white board availability, enhance the instructional periods.

This session provides an understanding of the CMstat modules, which support Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting and Configuration Audits. Specific use of basic CMstat modules including Configuration Item, Item/Part, Drawing/Document and Parts Lists, Change Requests (ECR), Change Order (ECO), Change Proposals (ECP),Workflow Management, Baseline Management, and Data Management |
